Sarkodie – Deja Vu Ft. KiDi
Sarkodie and KiDi Join Forces on Emotional Lead Single “Deja Vu”
Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie links up with Lynx Entertainment superstar KiDi for a deeply moving 2026 single titled “Deja Vu.” Serving as the lead single ahead of his 5-track DeJaVu EP, the track pairs mid-tempo Afrobeats percussion with smooth Afro-R&B instrumentals and expressive guitar arrangements.
Lyrically, “Deja Vu” explores themes of remorse, accountability, and seeking forgiveness after hurting a loved one. Sarkodie delivers heartfelt, narrative-driven Twi and English rap verses, acknowledging past mistakes and expressing a sincere desire to make things right. KiDi anchors the track with his signature smooth vocals on the chorus, adding emotional weight to the record.
“Oh, baby, just take me back, I don’t know / ‘Cause I don’t want no déjà vu again / And I’m sorry that I caused you all the pain”
